Nice property right near the ferry and on the water. Swimming dock right under the property. The rooms are OK. The restaurant is good. There is a small tienda next to the hotel. The only drawback were the backpackers swimming and being very loud at 2am.

Great little locally run hotel on the shores of beautiful Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. The restaurant views at sunset are superb. The breakfast was really good. The dinner was okay, could have used more flavor. The WiFi is good for those of us who work online. Overall a great place in a very convenient location next to the boat dock.

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay here! The location on the lake is fantastic and absolutely has the best views. We stayed in bungalow B2 from which you can see the volcano from bed. The private patio was also wonderful. The location being right next to the boat dock is very convenient. The food at the restaurant is fantastic and with great prices too! We really enjoyed the ambiance with the lighting, candles and lofi music. We ended up eating most of our meals here. The gardens and property are very beautiful and well kept. There’s no wifi in the rooms but if you know that going into it, it’s not an issue. Wifi in the restaurant/common area worked well.

Do not stay here if you plan to sleep. The street dogs bark all night long and the single pain glass and earplugs do nothing to help. The tuk-tuks are full blast up the hill all day. Quite the opposite of a relaxing lakeside stay. Also no fan in the room so it gets warm and stuffy. The view is nice.

Rooms and views are nice. Service seems less than friendly. On separate occasions I was given incorrect information by the front desk and they wouldn't even give me a piece of paper when I asked for one. We also ate at the restaurant for breakfast and it took 1.5 hrs for the food to be prepped. So maybe avoid the restaurant if you're in a hurry.

I booked the economy room (private room with shared bathroom) for 2 nights. Pros * Incredible views and great spots to lounge while admiring the volcanoes and lake * My room was great value for the price (150 GTQ/night) * Shared bathroom was generally kept clean * Breakfast was great Cons * There were ants on one wall in the room * It’s rarely quiet — being so close to the boat dock has drawbacks and staff were loud outside my room * Dinner menu is expensive (~120 GTQ+)
